Position Details: 

Retail Store Sales Lead

We are currently seeking a 30 hours/week employee to join our team and work out of our historical retail location in Guelph, Ontario. As our Customer Service Sales Lead, you will be joining a fun team of hard working & passionate individuals. Having a keen interest in home decor & decorating while being eager to problem solve is a must. Your schedule will be Tuesday - Saturday, with Sundays and Mondays off.

Here's a little more about what we're looking for! 

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading our retail store staff to help customers, stock product, merchandise, and clean. You'll be the team's point person, and expected to be knowledgable about products, systems, and policies.
  • Working directly with our customers to help them meet their home decor needs—this includes assisting them with a wide scope of projects, including choosing new pillows, finding the perfect rug, or simply getting a gift for a baby shower.
  • Maintaining retail store inventory, and communicating ordering needs to the rest of the team.
  • Assisting with special projects throughout the office and warehouse, including receiving packages, Shopify backend data entry, and tasks related to retail management. 

Qualifications we value:

  • Friendly, approachable & strong communicator with the ability to self direct and motivate. 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, prioritize tasks and dynamically move from one task to the next.
  • Sharp, eager, ambitious, and vibrant, with excellent ability to build personal friendly relationships with customers and clients.
  • Strong interest in interior design & decor.
  • Minimum 3 years of customer service experience required, preferably retail focused.
  • Proficient typing skills and excellent command of English required.
  • Abe to work Saturdays, with Sundays + Mondays off.
  • Required 30 hours/week.
