This one of a kind antique Persian Malayer rug was handwoven in Iran in the early 1900s using 100% wool and vegetable dyes. It features a low pile, with no areas of increased wear or damage. Note that this runner is about 2" more narrow at the far end (measuring about 2'2" at the far end and 2'4" at the near end).
This Malayer is a very rare rug due to it’s age, style & design - it’s considered a collectors piece. The rug has been professionally cleaned. Spot clean with soap and water as needed, or have the rug cleaned by a professional if necessary in the future.
