This one of a kind antique Persian Serapi rug was handwoven in Iran in the 1880s using 100% wool and vegetable dyes. It features a low pile, with no areas of increased wear or thinning of the pile. Note that there is one small 1/2” hole that is shown in the final 2 photos. Note that this is a very rare rug due to it’s age, style & design - it’s considered a collectors piece. The rug has been professionally cleaned. Spot clean with soap and water as needed, or have the rug cleaned by a professional if necessary in the future.
