Elephant Grass Maracas

Our Elephant Grass Maracas are made by artisans in the Bolgatanga region of Ghana that handcraft these African percussion instruments from stiff elephant grass. A calabash gourd base keeps the rattling beans intact and helps to keep its original structure.
